The new 24 Strand Carbon Hybrid Rail tape is for the guys who really want the carbon to stand out!! This is another one of our premium tape range and an update on the original 6 stripe tape!
The 6 Carbon bands is designed to be bold and there's more than enough fibre input to stiffen up any EPS boards. A perfect replacement for a full carbon tape for reinforcing surfboard rails in the tail area, it generally flexes more than a full carbon tape so it will complement the natural performance of the board. The design of this tape is to reduce fractures around where the tape meets the fibreglass.
Our new Uni construction is also stable and flexible enough to wrap rails and tails without distorting.
