The hard foam backing Pads are used for sanding Surfboards, SUP's, Kiteboards and Windsurfers. Perfectly made to sand the board, also fit between the fins and tight areas. Hook backed so all your 8 inch velcro (looped) backed sanding discs fit perfectly 

The pads have 14mm METAL thread for longer wearing use  (which is used in Australia and majority of the world please check your sander or polisher for thread size before buying as some USA sander/polishers  have different thread sizes)
